When it comes to nice restaurants, in Bandung, they are spread all over the place. When we were on our way going to Miss Bee Providore, bf & I eventually thought “is this really the right way to the place?” And since we went there after the day went quite dark, around 6 PM here, we can only see dark road with trees right and left. Thankfully they put some some street signs leading to the resto. Upon arriving there, we still had not seen what’s the hype about the place being so good is all about.
But apparently, after going up the stairs, we know what the fuss is all about. They freaking have a big glasshouse for us to eat inside!
It’s sooo pretty that we automatically went there first to check if we can actually eat there. Lucky for us, there was one empty table. Inside, people were busy chatting and taking pictures. Well, who wouldn’t anyway. Here is what it looks like in the inside.
From where we sit, we can see the restaurant building.
Which also has a nice vibe too:
Anyway, so we sit and take a look at the menu. Bf likes any kind of steak with mozzarella. If you recall my post about Vanilla Kitchen and Wine, he ordered Tenderloin Mozzarella. Now, he decided to go with Melted Chicken Rosti.
Like the name said, it literally has grilled chicken, rosti, and melted cheese (mozzarella & emmental). It costs IDR 69.5k. Expect yourself to be very full, because, look at the rosti size! By the way, they do look like ‘martabak mie’ or ‘pizza mie’ though. I posted this on my Instagram, and my friend actually commented said why would a grilled chicken served with martabak mie, hahaha. They grill the chicken well, it tasted so good and the combination with the mozzarella makes it very good.
I, on the other hand, trying to eat just a little, decided to go with pizza (what?). Stupid, I know. Especially after I ordered Mozza Calzone which has fresh garlic, mozzarella cheese, fresh basil, and garlic rosita dip, and this is what arrived:
This, should be a shared menu, seriously. But bf, being mean, said he is too full from the Melted Chicken Rosti and wouldn’t help me. So I ended up eating ALL of the calzone. I went home with a very big tummy. If I can finish all of it, means it’s good enough that I can eat it again and again. By the end of the last piece, my jaw was very tired of chewing, haha. The outside of the calzone, as you can see, is crispy. But the in side is warm and cheesy (literally). This one costs IDR 39.5k.
For the drinks, we ordered Matcha Latte (IDR 27.5k) and Green Apple Pie Tea (IDR 29.5k), which came looking like this:
The tea is very fresh, very much the taste that I would like. You can really taste the green apple without the three slices have to be crushed first. The matcha latte, tasted good after we asked for sugar. Before, it was quite savourless. But after adding the sugar, it tasted like how a matcha latte should taste.
Would I come back? Yes, of course. I would really like to take my girl friends here and have a nice chat (and gossip!) at the glass house while having brunch. Too bad they are all living at Jakarta. You can check Miss Bee’s own website here:
