Late Lunch at Ramen Sanpachi & Dessert at DeZato, Bandung

Continuing my last post, after the breakfast at Hummingbird, later on in the afternoon we decided to grab late lunch at Ramen Sanpachi which was located in Mayfair Building (still in Bandung of course). Bf has never really into ramen. The menu he always ordered in Japanese restaurants is Chicken Katsu or Chicken Curry. He never managed to order the more authentic ones tsk tsk. Anyway since I really really like ramen, he gave up and agreed to eat at Ramen Sanpachi. I ordered my usual Chasiu Ramen I always ordered:

This is the pork one. Some outlets of Sanpachi is halal, so for any of you who can’t eat pork and want to be sure about it, you could probably go to the halal store, like the one in Cilandak Town Square. Anyway, this ramen tasted quite good. However I still feel the need to add the chilli oil to add some flavour.

Meanwhile, bf orderd Curry Ramen :

The curry ramen tasted just okay. Kind of tasted like too much seasoning and a lot of curry flavouring. It’s still edible anyway. There are a lot of restaurants to eat ramen/udon these days, like Ikkudo Ichi, Marugame Udon, Marutama Ramen, etc. Sanpachi is one of the first ramen store I’ve tried, and somehow they still manage to make me crave for their ramen even though there are some other places that taste better.

Overall, I’d give 3.5/5.0 for the Chasiu Ramen and 3.0/5.0 for the Curry Ramen.

After eating ramen, bf fulfilled his promise to take me to this dessert place in the building, DeZato. He already went here once with friends and he said the dessert is quite good. So we ordered first and then decided to sit down at the corner where they have low legged table and pillows for us to sit. The interior is quite good:

Anyway, since we are quite full we decided to just ordered one dessert. Here it is:

We pick green tea ice cream since bf is obsessed with any kind of green tea. It has mixed puddings with flavours such as taro, mango, and milk. There are also some rainbow jelly. The dessert’s good and I love anything sweet basically. So this made my day 😀 Anyway, don’t believe my boyfriend and go with the green tea ice cream. If you are such a big green tea lover like him you might like it.But for me, it kind of make the dessert lose its sweetness 🙂

I’d give 3.8/5.0 for this dessert 🙂

Shortly after that I have to go home since the next day is Monday. I hate Monday too like maybe some of you guys 🙂 My travel took off at 5.00 and I arrived at Jakarta at 8.50 ish. Normally it would only take 3 hours to reach South Jakarta from Bandung. The road was packed for that day. And oh, do not hold your bladder whenever you are about to travel far with public transportation. OMG I felt that I need to use the bathroom right before the car was about to go so I feel bad for everybody that’s already been in the car if I need to take more 5 minutes just for me. So I decided to held it. But it made halfway of the trip like hell. And since the first rest area we reached is very full, the travel car did not stop there (it usually stop for a break once midway). All I could do is starring sadly 🙁 Thankfully there are another one not far from there. I suggest to just don’t hold it if you know it’s gonna take you more than 1.5 hours to reach a bathroom.
