Sinopsis

A high profile engineer turn entrepreneur invented a time machine but decided not to tell the government. Until it was stolen. So the NSA gathered a team consists of a historian, a soldier, and an engineer to travel through time to catch the culprit, and keep history as it is.

Review

First of all, this is actually good, I’m so mad it’s cancelled.

Season pertama seru banget nontoninnya karena mereka time travel ke kejadian bersejarah yang terkenal dan berupaya menghentikan tokoh jahatnya mengubah sejarah. Dan di setiap awal mula episodenya ada dibuat potongan adegan reka ulang kejadian bersejarahnya kaya apa. Terus baru lanjut ke ceritanya. Seru banget. I always love reading bits of history here and there. Jadi ini seru banget menurut saya dan menambah pengetahuan juga. Walaupun kebanyakan malah pengetahuan sejarah Amerika sih haha. Dari nontonin kejadian Abraham Lincoln dibunuh, Bonnie & Clyde, Jesse James, sampai saya baru tahu kalau sebelum pesawat terbang itu kita pakai airship untuk bepergian!

Season 2 masih bagus juga, tapi emang sedikit lebih ga se-exciting season 1. TV series ini di-cancel setelah season 2, dan ditambahkan 2 episode final untuk penutup. This two-part ending was a little rushed, but it served a clean ending to the viewers. It’s nice to have a good TV Series that ends with a good ending

Acting wise, I think Abigail Spencer acts the same whenever I see her : Scottie in Suites and Megan Hunt in Grey’s Anatomy. Her acting’s decent, but the same expression always. So it actually feels like I’m watching Scottie (from Suits, where I first saw her) dropped her law career to be a soldier (Megan Hunt from Grey’s Anatomy) then become a historian (Lucy Preston here in Timeless).

Yang menambah seru juga, chemistry antara dua karakter utamanya, Lucy (Abigail Spencer) dan Wyatt (Matt Lanter) oke banget. Jadi dari season 1 udah penasaran mereka bakal jadi atau ngga terus kalau iya bakal kaya gimana. Ehh pas akhirnya bareng malah ga bisa karena istrinya si Wyatt yang hilang malah kembali (dejavu Grey’s Anatomy banget ini dan pas cerita yang ini di Grey’s ada Abigail Spencer juga lagi!).

So like I said, this show is good. Just a little too rushed at the end because it’s cancelled.

What I Like The Most

That they time travel, to the past. I love myself a little history here and there.

What I Dislike The Most

That it’s cancelled, whyyy? And that they pull a Snape on Flynn.
